Tomato Nursery

In the effort to produce quality product consistently, Expo Fresh growers have developed 2.5 acres with the latest technology for the production of grafted seedling. Expo Fresh strives for a plant that will not only survive but will perform vigorously in the field.

Expo Fresh has been concerned about implementing the latest technology for the production of tomato. Plants grown in the protective atmosphere of the nursery develop faster and more efficient.

In the Nursery, we provide the most suitable weather conditions for the development of the plant at each stage of the process.

In the planting area, we have an automated seeder and four germination chambers with temperature and humidity controlled independently. We also have a desalination plant, which allows us to have the best water quality for the propagation of seedlings. A special area for the graft with air conditioning, humidifier, and special lamps as well as five cameras are part of the equipment that allows us to produce a seedling of excellent quality.

Health Benefits of Tomatoes

Tomatoes are some of the most popular vegetables used in food preparation worldwide. They can be combined with many dishes and are extremely beneficial for your health. With a high content of vitamins and antioxidants, tomatoes should not be missing from your diet.

Some reasons to include tomatoes in your diet:

Tomatoes are a rich source of vitamins A and C, and have useful amounts of potassium, manganese and folate.

Tomatoes contain a potent antioxidant, called lycopene, which some scientific studies suggest may help reduce the risk of certain diseases including cancer and heart disease.

Tomatoes are naturally low in sodium, saturated fat, cholesterol and calories.

One serving of tomatoes gives you 2 grams of fiber, which is 7% of the daily recommended amount. Tomatoes also have a relatively high water content, which makes them a filling food.
